What is design thinking?

Design thinking is a human-centered problem-solving methodology that involves understanding the needs of users, brainstorming solutions, and creating prototypes to test and refine those solutions. It's a cyclical process that emphasizes iteration and empathy.

1. Empathize: Conduct customer interviews, observe user behavior, and gather secondary data to understand your target audience's challenges and aspirations.
e.g. Clothing brands struggling to stand out as the market becomes saturated.

2. Define: Based on your research, define your ideal customer's core problem and what your business can do.
e.g. Problems faced by clothing brands and what we can solve for them
- Market positioning
- Brand Identity
- Unique E-commerce Store

3. Ideate: Brainstorm creative solutions, considering multiple approaches to communicate the identified problem & solutions
e.g.
- Crafting ads & content to make brands aware of problems & solutions both
- Reach out to brands that may be struggling in this market
- Craft your sales pitch around the above problems

4. Prototype: Develop a minimal viable prototype of your solution
e.g.
- 5-day trial program to try out our services
- A guidebook they can use to position their brands better
- Free brand identity guide specifically for clothing stores

5. Test: Present your prototype to potential customers and gather feedback. refine your approach based on their input.
